Design of utility bridges named UB03 & UB04, having three & five lanes respectively by department
of transport, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Total lengths of bridges are 177 & 173 m. respectively. Total widths
of bridges are 16.75 m. & 24.05 m. respectively. The super structure consists of precast
pretensioning girder made continuous using diaphragm and the foundations are pile foundation for
both bridges. Bridges are designed as per ASHTHO 2012 latest edition and Norms of Abu Dhabi
department of transportation.
