Odisha is the 9th largest state by area, and the 11th largest by population in India and has 485km of coastline. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the form of a “loan” toward the cost of Phase I of National Highways Inter-Connectivity Improvement Projects (NHIIP). Backbone Enterprise Limited has been awarded the work of execution for the NH-201 Package from CH. 55+000 to Ch. 80+276 in the state of Odisha. Multi Media Consultants is their design consultants for the same.
PROJECT OUTCOME :
After completion of this project, better connectivity is established between Jagdalpur and other important locations like Bhavanipatna and Balangir. 2 lane/ 2lane with paved shoulder road will provide better and faster travel experience compared to current single lane road.
